A couple of Eug.’s paintings, late last year.
A wee story I made up for Eugene last year.
“Tezuka: Turning drawings into dance”. I like what he has to say about Osamu Tezuka. The comics are so cinematic and kinetic. Performance sold out at the Wellington Arts Fest.
We watched this movie over the weekend: brutal, harrowing, almost unrelentingly grim. Awesome performance by the protagonist, powerful and nuanced. Based on a true story.
A couple of A2 prints in the hall. Last ones from the 3800 before it found a new home.
We love the Auckland Zoo. Visited today & a ride on the tram.
The Buddha in the Classroom by Dona Quesada. Nice book, stay cool till after school.
Fujifilm X Pro 1. Interesting.
“Frank Lloyd Wright: Home & Studio”
Just watched DVD “Frank Lloyd Wright: Home & Studio”. Quick over view of the master through his first home. Favorite quote went something like “You can’t see the waterfall, you are the waterfall”. Speaking to the client of Fallingwater.
